What You Will Learn

Footings

Measuring, layout, erecting footings using prefabricated panels and planks, bracing, and anchor bolt installation.

Foundation & Retaining Walls

Layout, pre-built wall panels, plumbing and straightening walls, door and window bucks, and various foundation wall materials.

Prefabricated Wall Panels

Measuring and Layout of Doka X-light wall system. Handset wall forms, Doka tie rod systems, door bucks, bulkheads, and beam pockets.

Concrete Deck & Slab

Deck layout, erecting systems at various elevations, safety, guardrails, ladders, bulkheads, pour breaks, rebar, and columns.

Working at Heights

Fall hazard awareness, ladders and scaffolds, elevated work platforms. Fall protection equipment, harness and lanyard inspection and use.

Power Elevated Platforms & Forklift

In-class Theory. Practical component scheduled on evenings, weekends, or post-course daytime at 222 Rowntree Dairy Rd.

Classroom

Basic math and concrete theory.
